I make all of my pendants/cabochons in my home studio. I am hooked on fusing glass. I use spectrum 96 fusing glass and compatible CBS dichroic glass. I make pendants, rings, earrings and bracelets. No two pieces are the same. I can make the same color combinations, but each piece will be a little different. Most of my pieces are one onlys.
I cut and put together each item then they are fired in my kiln and annealed for strength. I grind sharp edges and fire polish for the best possible look. Most of my pieces are fired several times by the time I layer and fire polish.
Dichroic glass is hard to photograph. It changes colors with different angles and light. The pictures will vary from monitor to monitor. I will describe the colors along with a picture.
